Brag Bird Health and Safety at Work Policy  

Overview

It is the policy of Brag Bird LTD (the Company), including all and any trading names connected with them, to pursue and promote at all levels of employment within the Company measures which shall aim to ensure and protect the health and safety of all employees and any other persons connected with the operations of the Company.  

  1. The implementation of this policy will fulfil all and any legislative requirements the Company is subject to by ensuring:
  2. A. All reasonable and practical steps and measures must be taken to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of all employees of the Company while at work. 
  3. B. The safety and health of any members of the public or any other persons who may visit sites and locations where the Company conducts its business operations is protected so far as is reasonably practical. 
  4. C. The Company implements sufficient measures to prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health by managing workplace health and safety risks. 
  5. D. Provide all employees with clear and adequate information, instructions, and training to ensure they can carry out their work responsibly and safely. 
  6. E. Company engagement with and consultation of employees regularly and appropriately concerning their work’s health and safety conditions. 
  7. F. Implement emergency procedures in case of significant events, such as fires, that threaten the health and safety of employees and others. 
  8. G. The Company maintains safe and healthy working conditions. It provides and maintains all necessary equipment and any other goods or tools needed for employees to carry out the duties of their role with the Company. 
  9. The relevant actions that will be taken to ensure compliance with health and safety are:
  10. A. Relevant risk assessments shall be completed, and actions arising from those assessments shall be implemented where necessary. Where working habits or conditions change, risk assessments shall be reviewed. 
  11. B. Employees and subcontractors shall be given necessary health and safety inductions and provided with appropriate training and personal protective equipment where required. Training provided to employees includes but is not limited to: 

Health and Safety training will be part of the standard company training scheme.  

The Company will ensure that suitable arrangements are in place to cover employees engaged in work that is remote from the leading company site.  

  1. C. All relevant and necessary signage for the protection and safety of employees and any other persons entering and present on Company premises will be displayed clearly and updated as required. Escape routes shall be well-signed and kept clear at all times. Evacuation plans and procedures will be tested occasionally and updated as necessary. 
  2. D. All relevant employee and public facilities such as toilets, washing, and drinking water shall always be provided. The Company shall ensure that these facilities are always safe to use through routine inspection and cleaning and will take appropriate action where any defects are found. 
  3. Implement systematic inspections and testing of company equipment and machinery and ensure that any necessary action is carried out promptly and efficiently where problems or defects are uncovered. 
  4. Implementing the health and safety actions described above shall be JIMI CLARKE’s responsibility
  5. All and any employees or other persons working with the Company must cooperate in the implementation of this policy through:
  6. A. They work and conduct themselves in a manner that promotes their safety and the safety of others. 
  7. B. Following and obeying procedures and practices of the Company that have been designed and implemented to ensure safe and healthy working conditions. 
  8. C. Reporting accidents and any other working conditions they may feel are unsafe and have led or may lead to injury or damage. 
  9. D. Assisting in any necessary investigations of accidents to introduce new measures to prevent reoccurrence. 
  10. E. Using any personal protective equipment the Company has provided for employees’ safety under the law’s requirements. Where any employee or any other persons do not follow the relevant training, signage, or wearing of personal protective equipment, the Company shall not be held to have acted in contravention of this policy.

  1. First-aid box is located:
    A first aid box is not provided as the Company has no physical location for work. Employees are encouraged to buy and keep a first aid kit at the Company’s expense.

This policy fulfils the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 requirements and other relevant legislation and regulations.
